Nov 18 began with a simple exercise:

  Lead a forward ocho on leader's RHS

and now the ocho cortado:

  Walk in parallel;

Leader stops on right foot;

Leader leads a forward ocho on RHS by stepping back on his left leg and turning his torso 90 to right;

Leader leads an open step so leader and follower face one another with weight distributed between both feet;

Leader transfers weight to right leg and pivots back to straight ahead while collecting left foot alongside right, bringing his follower into a cross in front of him;

Leader walks out in parallel

...

and with a twist:

  Walk in parallel;

Leader stops on right foot;

Leader leads a forward ocho on RHS by stepping back on his left leg and turning his torso 90 to right;

Leader leads an open step so leader and follower face one another with weight distributed between both feet;

Leader transfers weight to right leg and pivots back to straight ahead while bringing his left foot across in froont of his right, bringing his follower into a cross in front of him;

Leader walks out in parallel on his left foot or cross on his right foot

...

How it started
What you must do first
Getting around
Intertwining those legs
Having real fun
Swirling around the room
No limits
