More illusions

Lateral Barrida:

  Start from a side step

Leader interposes free foot against side of follower’s balancing foot

Follower’s free foot closes against leader’s foot to form mordita

Leader’s foot now leads/follows follower’s free foot out laterally

Repeat at will - one, two, maybe three, never four

Rotary Barrida:

  Start from a side step

Lead a backward step and keep turning (start of giro) so follower turns around leader

leader and follower are parallel side by side follower facing forward, leader back

Leader interposes free foot against side of follower’s trailing (forward) foot

Leader’s foot now leads/follows follower’s free foot out laterally

Repeat at will - one, two, maybe three, never four

Continuous:

use barrida to form the side step of alternate backward and side step giro

How it started
What you must do first
